Today was suppose to be a typical normal day for me. Still thinking that Labour Day should have been a LONG weekend holiday, browsing Bernama newswire is my morning fix to forget any expectations for the day. And there it is, the least expected news appeared.

Malaysia’s top automotive king, Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, has passed away on Friday Thursday morning @ 1.15am in Los Angeles. He was receiving treatment for cancer & the whole family was there at bedside.

We lost another great entrepreneur, other than the great Lim Goh Tong, which they have outshined the shiniest in Malaysia. I don’t know much about the Naza family, but once upon a time, I was close with one of the family members when I was in college. And that was about 7 years ago I think. Nothing weird about the family, as they are pretty normal people. But I did thought of this, if only, if only we have a lot more families like the Naza family, who believes sharing is caring, we could have a better Malaysia.

Hearing this sort of news gives me the creeps, as the late Tan Sri’s wife was also treated for breast cancer in 2001 and recovered & unexpectedly, the late Tan Sri was diagnosed with same but different disease. It just gives me the creeps of how unbelievable things can be & happen.

Innalillah wa inna ilaihi raji`un. My condolences to the Naza family.

Update: Tan Sri was laid to rest next to his mother’s grave on Sunday @ Kampung Melaka, Hulu Langat, Selangor. TheStarOnline.TV crew has the coverage.
