Good riddance Pudu Jail

Ahh, everybody seems to be melodramatic about the demolition of Pudu Jail. I can understand why you need to be “sad”, losing a historical landmark. But my question is this, how much of that history were you part of? Were you a former resident? Did you had anyone you know that went into Pudu? Simpler question; have you visited anyone in Pudu Jail when the jail was still reeked with urine smell & faint voices of inmates?

Don’t try to understand something that you’ve never been through. Just say, “I think I know how you feel, but I think I don’t at the same time”. Be honest. It’s sad, I know. But you have no idea how it was before Pudu Jail was shutdown. It wasn’t something to be proud of. It’s a historical reminder, like how the Nazi concentration camps is to the world. You can make a movie out of Pudu Jail. Serious. I have a working title for you, “Budu Pudu”.

OK, what’s all this report card shit? Trying to be cool?

Not intentionally. It’s more like a personal note of what has been achieved so far. Disasters and small wins, those are my achievements. I’m kinda weird, in a sense where I measure myself by everything I do. I’m not entirely an angel.
