Turn your Android phone Touch ‘n’ Go-able

I was out this morning, paying a visit to Galeri Petronas to have a look at Haroshi’s art works based on skateboarding. It was a unique experience, and I must recommend everyone who appreciates street art to have a look. The details of his handiwork will blow you away.

Ok, the real story here is how I transform my Android phone into a Touch ‘n’ Go-able device. I was informed that Maxis had something like this in the works, but as usual, as Malaysians, they are slow in rolling it out or they just don’t care. I prefer to take everything in consideration. So, I thought of a hack to make my Android go *tiit* *tiit*

All you need:

  1. Android or iPhone device
  2. Rubberized case or any sort of casing
  3. Obviously, Touch ‘n’ Go card. Reloaded.

So, here’s the how with pictures.

i iz malay

Kinda cute for short film title, innit? The real story here is the way these PERKASA are hustling fear into the public: the all black May 13. Coincidently, it’s a Friday Thursday. I bet Freddy Krueger would be happy if first blood was drawn. Then again, their stand as PERKASA can be misunderstood. You have your agenda, fine. You have your reasons, fine. But I know this is not the way to do it. If you want to protect the peace & freedom of the Malays, I as a Malay don’t want to be protected by a blanket of fear. I want to be protected by respect. Respect for my actions, respect for my deeds, respect for the good that I try to bring for everyone. If you do this rally, you will put a fear blanket all over us unsuspecting Malays who now has to explain to our unsuspecting Malaysian brothers & sisters why some Malays can be racists.

Kena buat kerja dua kali. Apahal?

Look, if you want to protect the streets, then do it. Do it with class & intelligence. But don’t bring back the old school ways. People are much more smarter nowadays. KJ is doing it right you know. Ask him how.

I can say nothing will happen. But if something happens, if blood was drawn, I will be embarrassed to call myself a Malay. I’m going to stick with Malaysian.

Heh.

Dear Emma Rose, if only you could….

Understand the fact that being real is counter productive. In fact, it’s very destructive. Depending on how you swing it.

Oh that smell of your perfume. That’s it. It’s just a smell. But the brain deciphers the scent, taking into account your preferences, environment, location, everything and throwing out a set of results. That set of results is close to your liking.

From a set, your brain only commits itself to 1 result.

And I don’t know what else to write. Time to migrate this site to Drupal. Oh Emma Rose..
