It’s really inspiring to see the chatter on twitterverse about peeps going out on their own. Discovered a new word through the chatter: solopreneur. Pfft. Sorry, but I just cringe by the sound of it. It’s like not another “preneur” word. But hey, you got to move together with the trends & time when you start doing business for yourself. I prefer the phrase “likes doing stuff”. Maybe it’s just me.
It does bring back memories, I mean when I observed the chatter happening. I feel jealous at the same time as well. Because it reminds me of how fun & exciting it was when you start going out on your own. I got seriously interested with entertainment with buddies & eventually left classes for fun. Seriously, it was really fun doing stuff in entertainment. Although the job was as an online community manager AKA leader for groupies, it was an actual result of a previous experiment I performed: KJROLLERS. And it began from a ICQ message window. Another strange experiment. But that’s the strange thing: everything is like an experiment.
Going solo was the best experiment I’ve ever performed.
And I tell ya, the result was pure satisfaction and pure horror. Not scary horror, but you somehow discover that inner, deep, dark self you thought you never had. Kinda like some face time with your Darkside. Patience & presevere, that’s the Force.
With a good real job at hand, I can only suppress the Force & the Darkside, but there are leaks, somewhere in the soul, that prevents me from being restrained. That’s probably one reason why I couldn’t stop doing stuff. But I remembered the ugly horror 5 years ago, it was so ugly I just stop… slow down. At times you just need to…………
