iQ, we will surely miss you bro. I just didn’t expect our supposed gathering would be on your funeral day man. It was just the other day when all of us were commenting on the photo we took together at David’s old house in Bangsar. And Bruce Lee. Haha. It was just yesterday, dude…
The Ruffneck clique is here to stay & be well for you bro. Al Fatihah, rest in peace.

Firdhaus Othman, 1984 – 2008.
Update: Here are some links to reports about the accident involving iQ. Shree also made a tribute remix of the last song recorded together with iQ.
A friend, A Brother, A amigo, A Romeo, An Angel.
These are are the things that that I.Q will be remembered as. Someone who puts others before himself. Someone who would risk his life in to save even a stranger. Someone who regardless of his size proved that you don’t need size to possess the heart of a lion. The strength of a conqueror, The intellect of a genius, The compassion of a saint and the courage of a warrior.
Firdaus Othman, was so many years younger than me but it was he that showed me what it meant to be a real man. To take responsibility of my own actions, to remember that my purpose in life went way beyond my own selfish needs. To remember family and to be a good friend and an even better human being.
I’m truely blessed to have known him in the years that i was blessed with knowing such a selfless and magnificent human being. Though younger than me, his maturity drawfed mine and he pull my back from the brink of destruction. I owe him so much, if anything at all, just to even have known him.
I think These words reflect the way all of his closest friends and that was something he was extremely rich with. He was always liked, loved, respected and adored by so many people cos that was what a lot of us saw in him. As it is well known, Firdaus Othman aka our beloved I.Q, lived for his family and LIVED BY HIS FRIENDS.
If i have my words have in any way offended anyone, I am truly sorry. My intention was to pay tribute to someone whom i will always remember, miss and cherish.
I wish I could say more but these stated words sum up the gist of what i would like to convey.
On behalf of some of the people that i feel he would regard as some of the people closest to him;
Shame, Wawie, Salma, Ezra, Renan, Abi, J’sad, Rob, Rizal, Farid, David, Samir, Dewi, Mikey, Dan, Fira, Shree, Reza, Megat, Woo, John Chan, Maria, Juliana, Zie, Aaron, Grace, Minn, Nadia, Sazzy, The entire Ruffneck crew, The Ampang Boys, Tammy, Mel, Yuki, CY, and a whole lot more that i cant even remember.
For all those that i have left out, my sincerest apologies
I.Q rest in peace my brother. You will always live on in our hearts and memories.
