Datuk Sidek Abdullah, a proud father of Misbun, Jalani, Razif, Rashid, Rahman & Zamaliah, all whom are Malaysia’s best & world’s best badminton players, finally laid to rest yesterday, at Banting, Klang.
I personally, is a big fan of the Sidek family. During Misbun & Rashid undertaking of the world of badminton back in late 1980s, I never missed a single Thomas Cup match. At that time, I’ve been to Stadium Negara more than often, as I’m always tagging along a family friend to watch the badminton matches. I can still remember getting a jab just because I fell down the stadium stairs (see, how demented I was in my early age).
Al-Fatihah to the Sidek family & for something like this to happen during Ramadhan, I hope God reserved something good for Pak Sidek.
